The temporary Assistant Dean of Graduate Student Affairs will foster a dynamic community through a diverse, inclusive, and invested student body. The Assistant Dean supports all students, and particularly our underrepresented student populations, including but not limited to students of color, LGBTQIA+ students, first-generation students, and international students. They will serve as a primary responder to student crises as well as the GSAS liaison to the Graduate Affairs Office. The Assistant Dean, in partnership with multiple offices and departments, will conduct scheduled programming to support student well-being and relate to student life.

Serves as a primary responder to student crises and the GSAS liaison to the Office of Graduate Affairs. (60%)

Conducts programming related to student life and student well-being in collaboration with other departments and offices. (35%)

Other duties as assigned (5%)
