The Associate Producer is a key member of TFANA’s artistic and producing team and works closely with the Artistic Director and General Manager on TFANA’s production, Studio, and Humanities programming. Duties include line producing for TFANA’s productions and Studio activities; contracting of creative team members; working with casting director on auditions and casting; managing Production, Studio and Humanities program budgets; supervising production coordinator, humanities manager, and external contacts including technical director and casting director; negotiating and executing production rental equipment agreements; oversight of Humanities/literary activities including talkbacks; serving as liaison between creative/production teams and the rest of TFANA’s internal departments.   For a full position description, see:

Qualifications and traits: 4+ years’ experience in theatrical producing, production management and/or general management in the Off-Broadway and/or comparable market; knowledge of local, national, and international theatre artists; knowledge of the theatrical labor unions and collective bargaining agreements; strong organizational, management, team-building, budgeting, and administrative skills; effective communication with a sharp eye for detail and logistics. Must be available for evening and weekend hours as needed.
