Title: Senior Supply Chain Analyst                                         

Reports to: VP, Programs

Status: Salaried, Exempt                                                            

Location: Seattle, WA or Remote Home Office

Foundation Overview:

The Max Foundation's (Max) mission is to increase global access to treatment, care, and support for people living with cancer. Specifically, we create access channels to innovative cancer medicines for people in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) where no other means of access exist. We work with national cancer centers and other public institutions, health care providers, patient associations, pharmaceutical and diagnostics manufacturers, and governmental and non-governmental agencies to provide access to life-saving treatments. Our international non-profit functions as an operating foundation with funds raised spent directly on our proprietary access programs. Patients are at the center of all we do.

The Max Foundation is currently working to increase the size and scope of our access programs to reach more cancer patients and meet today's global health need now and in the future. Role Summary: 

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Vice President of Programs and will be accountable for reviewing, analyzing, and implementing supply chain strategies and improvements for all facets of our Max Access Solutions program in collaboration with the Senior Supply Chain Manager. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for researching financial and programmatic data in order to strengthen our programmatic impact and, along with the Senior Supply Chain Manager, inform the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures of our Max Access Solutions program.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement methods to gather and manage supply chain data, including inventory and financials, and work collaboratively with Programs and Finance team members to support reporting and accounting needs
  • Review and analyze gathered data to locate areas in the supply chain process that can be improved; develop proposals for methods to optimize the overall supply chain system
  • Research and seek out cost-efficient supply chain solutions and strategies
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
  • Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values
  • Assist in promoting a positive image and inter-business relationship with business partners and vendors
  • Assess vendor operations and conduct cost-analysis; support the Senior Supply Chain Manager in enforcing quality standards
  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain department by reviewing current tactics and processes
  • Coordinate communications and metrics between the supply chain, finance, and programs team members to enhance service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s or relevant certification in Supply Chain Management or Finance preferred
  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in the international supply chain or related field, preferably in the global health industry
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to make critical decisions; Past experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Advanced project management skills and ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment with a solid track-record of following through on commitments
  • Experience working in a global and multicultural capacity across time zones and among diverse team
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; written and verbal fluency in French, Spanish, or another language, a plus
  • Willing and able to travel domestically or internationally, on occasion
  • High-level understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes
  • Concise and professional communication skills, especially when conversing and negotiating with vendors
  • Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects, foresee challenges, and anticipate needs
  • Ability to research companies and determine the best vendors to reach out to for various projects
  • Experience working to improve all aspects of the supply chain by streamlining steps and locating the best prices for inventory
