    Description

    This is a full-time, hybrid position that requires 3 days in-office attendance.

    Reports to: Treatment Center Director of Operations

    Intake Responsibilities:

    • Use EHR systems to track and maintain patient information
    • Respond to inquiries of request for service, refer out if ineligible for NIP services
    • Correspond with potential patients about insurance benefits, fees for service, and scheduling
    • Coordinate with the Assistant Director of Treatment Services and Treatment Center Director of Operations to determine the appropriateness for treatment
    • Maintain referral lists for patients who are being referred out

    Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Serve as communication liaison between patients and NIP Administration, Candidates, and Billing Department, ensuring follow-up of patient participation and documentation for intake process
    • Evaluate workflow processes with the Director of Treatment Center Operations and make recommendations for change.
    • Plan and execute Annual Social Work Students Orientation
    • Attend mandatory, weekly staff and supervision meetings, as well as monthly committee meetings
    • Manage all revisions and updates to Intake Manual on ongoing basis

    Qualifications

    We are excited to offer an opportunity for applicants to receive clinical supervision hours toward their LMSW/LCSW licensure. Please note that current candidates providing services in NIP’s treatment center are not eligible to apply for this position.

    • Must have a minimum of three years of full-time, paid, professional experience. Experience organizing or implementing patient- centered care informed and evidence-based prevention and intervention services strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of professional responsibilities, ethics and confidentiality regarding mental health services
    • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction and to work and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff, program directors, candidates, patients, and the community
