Older Adults Technology Services, Inc. (OATS) is an award-winning social change organization that is a recognized national leader in the aging and technology field. Based in Brooklyn with operations in five different states, we’re a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven team looking for a highly-motivated individual to lead a new major initiative.


The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring projects undertaken by OATS are planned, implemented and managed to meet all deliverables and the organization’s overall strategic goals.


Responsibilities


Project Management

  • Responsible for the overall planning, management and delivery of a wide range of projects across the organization’s geographies and priority areas
  • Coordinates the completion of all project deliverables across all phases of assigned projects
  • Outline roles and responsibilities for OATS staff to manage project through completion
  • Utilizes internal project management systems, practices and tools in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Tracks project milestones and goals in real time throughout the project
  • Prepares and implements project budgets while providing costs analysis and estimates for project costs
  • Reports status of all assigned projects to all project stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Escalate project issues in a timely fashion while working to identify alternatives and impacts


Account Management

  • Works with OATS teams and funders to outline services, deliverables and objectives for all new projects 
  • Establishes schedule and methods for client feedback throughout project lifecycle. Manages client inquiries and feedback to ensure satisfaction with project goals
  • Represents OATS and its programs to external stakeholders in a professional manner
  • Acts as a liaison between organization, funders, clients and vendors


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years managing projects or programs
  • Interpersonal communication skills especially the ability to communicate complex ideas and issues in a simple and straightforward manner
  • Knowledge and utilization of project management discipline and best practices
  • Strong writing and presentation skills
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Interest in working within nonprofit focused on older adults and social change



Salary

This is a full-time position, with a salary of $50,000-$60,000/year. OATS offers full-time employees a generous package of leave time (three weeks vacation and ten sick/personal days per year), health insurance and ancillary benefits, professional development and growth opportunities, and an exciting, collegial work environment.
