    The Opportunity:

    The Drupal Association is a nonprofit that serves one of the largest, independent global open source communities - Drupal, which has pioneered open source and led the Content Management Software (CMS) space for 23 years. There are three pillars to our organization: DrupalCon, Drupal.org, and our Certified Partner Program. These attract hundreds of businesses globally who buy event sponsorships, digital ads, and membership to grow their pipelines and to support the Drupal project. They are critical to our community’s longevity.

    That’s where you come in. As our Fulfillment Coordinator it’s your job to make sure they activate their benefits and love the value they get from the Drupal Association. By providing exemplary guidance and fulfillment support to our event sponsors, members, and digital advertisers you will improve and grow those relationships. You will work with each account, strategizing with them how to get the most out of their program benefits, fulfilling those benefits, tracking fulfillment progress, and delivering customers reports on their investment impact. You will work as part of a closely-knit development team providing Salesforce reports, dashboards and general administration of Salesforce accounts.

    Elements of the Role:

    • As the main point of contact for fulfillment for our partners and sponsors you will provide timely responses to questions and problems, draft and schedule partner social media posts and proactively assist partners in fulfilling their benefits and track fulfillment activities through Salesforce and Google Sheets.
    • You will be the lead Salesforce administrator; creating reports and dashboards, sending emails, managing the sales pipeline process while executing new efficiencies, improvements and ideas.
    • You will be the lead Google Analytics administrator; monitoring and reporting on traffic on a monthly basis to our partners while recommending strategies or ideas to increase traffic.
    • You will put your effective communication skills to use in building strong and lasting relationships with DA Fundraising Managers, Engineering, Marketing and Communications teams by working with team members to create processes and procedures for partner social media content, invoice processing and collaborating on DrupalCon sponsorship fulfillment.
    • You will learn the Drupal Association’s programs and the benefits and the strategies that we use to get the most out of them.
    • A few examples of the benefits you’ll be fulfilling for event sponsors, supporting partners, and digital sponsors include:
      • Activate and manage all partner benefits such as propping logos, distributing ticket codes, publishing case studies, etc.
      • Managing DrupalCon Sponsor logos for print, signage, and digital creative assets
      • Managing Sponsor booth selections in the DrupalCon exhibit hall
      • Overseeing all of the Sponsorship activity at DrupalCon and provide exceptional customer service to all throughout the duration of the event
      • You will monitor digital campaigns throughout their lifecycle to ensure delivery and performance needs will be met, while identifying and communicating any issues with delivery or performance.
      • You’ll use Salesforce to track all communication with accounts and track all progress of benefit fulfillment
      • Working alongside the Accounting Manager, you’ll review and approve customer invoices.
      • You’ll also find ways to improve and streamline our fulfillment processes

    What we need from you:

    As our Fundraising Specialist you have phenomenal customer service skills, solid written and verbal communication ability, strong operations skills, excellent attention to detail and experience with sales and marketing tools like Salesforce, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Analytics and Mailchimp.

    In this role you’ll be working with a global, multicultural community. You should be comfortable working with a diverse group and have the ability to build relationships before meeting in person. Drupal Association is a distributed team environment so you’ll be working from a home office. You’ll also need some flexibility in your schedule as you may need to shift work hours from time-to-time to serve customers around the world.

    Candidate Qualities

    • 5+ years of demonstrated success in a customer service and/or fulfillment role is required for this role
    • 5+ years of experience working in a high volume, deadline-driven, post-sales role strongly preferred
    • A passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven post-sales environment
    • Proven experience building strong relationships with remote staff through email and video chats
    • The ability to think strategically and work tactically
    • Strong project management skills and highly analytical
    • Able to multitask and be detail oriented when fulfilling high-volume of deadline driven benefits
    • Strong advertising & marketing tools skills: Google Analytics, Salesforce, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets)
    • Proficiency with or willingness to learn Google Apps (Gdocs, Google Sheets, Google Presentation), Asana, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, basic HTML and Drupal

    Location and Travel

    • Fully remote position (home office)
    • Flexible work schedule with the need to adjust occasionally to accommodate global time zones
    • Requires 2-3 travel/in-person events throughout the year (including staff retreats and DrupalCon)

    Position Type

    This position is a full-time, exempt position.
