National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) in Washington, D.C., is accepting applications for the position of Disability Advocacy Database (DAD) Administrator. DAD is a web based system that provides the Protection and Advocacy (P&A) Systems and Client Assistance Programs (CAP) employees with a customized advocacy services tracking application with focus on federal reporting. NDRN is the nonprofit membership organization for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy P&A/CAP for individuals with disabilities. NDRN provides training and technical assistance, legal support, and legislative advocacy, working to create a society in which people with disabilities are afforded equality of opportunity and are able to fully participate by exercising choice and self-determination.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Works under the direction of the Deputy Executive Director of Special Projects and is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of DAD. This position will be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. The DAD Administrator will also provide support to the DAD Committee, and collaborate with IT consultants.
