The Fund for Public Health in New York City (FPHNYC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being of all New Yorkers. To this end, in partnership with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), FPHNYC incubates innovative public health initiatives implemented by DOHMH to advance community health throughout the city. It facilitates partnerships, often new and unconventional, between government and the private sector to develop, test, and launch new initiatives. These collaborations speed the execution of demonstration projects, effect expansion of successful pilot programs, and support rapid implementation to meet the public health needs of individuals, families, and communities across New York City.
Health Data for New York City (HD4NYC) is a partnership between DOHMH and the New York Academy of Medicine. Through the combination of multi-institutional collaboration, access to data, and mentorship, HD4NYC seeks to advance health equity by (1) producing actionable, policy-relevant health equity research and (2) promoting the careers of academic and applied public health researchers. HD4NYC working group members are early- and mid-career researchers from academic institutions across the NYC metropolitan area and DOHMH divisions, plus two senior mentors co-leading each working group. HD4NYC has facilitated policy-relevant research products and new, funded collaborations to conduct health equity research.
The Data Manager will work with the Project Coordinators, working group Co-Leads, and working group members to track and support the data needs of each HD4NYC project. This position reports to the HD4NYC Project Coordinator, Bureau of Epidemiology Services, NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. This position is funded through March 2022.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
FPHNYC offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision insurance. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $64,900 and is commensurate with experience.
There is potential for this position to transition to DOHMH and therefore candidates must meet DOHMH eligibility requirement including NYC residency.
