At least $30,000To provide context, this is a substantial amount of income to live a comfortable lifestyle in Yangon. - Salary may be renegotiated subject to strong performance, and as the Program succeeds in securing more funds.

Program Director provides both strategic and academic leadership to the program:

● Manage the short, medium, and long-term budget of the program;

● With the Board of Trustees, formulate and execute a strategic plan

● Work together with the Board of Trustees in fundraising efforts

● Recruit, hire and manage the faculty and staff

● Lead the outreach to prospective students, run the selection process, and vet the candidates applying for Program scholarships

● Coordinate the curricula of the various courses of the program

● Teach a class (preferred but not mandatory)

● Be ready to mentor young faculty in other responsibilities including student service learning, facilitating student internships, and managing alumni relations

● Manage the academic advising and college application process of the students

● Facilitate students in obtaining college admissions and scholarships

● Be receptive to requests for advice on personal matters

● Build positive relationships with P-CP alumni and support the establishment of an active P-CP alumni organization
