IRC Background:
IRC Oakland’s Anti-Trafficking department provides comprehensive case management services to survivors of trafficking and other violent crimes. IRC Oakland primarily serves immigrant survivors of trafficking. The Anti-Trafficking program works to find sustainable solutions that are appropriate for the unique situations of each client while concurrently partnering with community organizations and government agencies to raise awareness of human trafficking and identify the needs of survivors.
Job Overview: The Anti-Trafficking Manager oversees the strategy, development, implementation, and completion of all grants, contracts and activities related to our survivors of trafficking and unaccompanied minors’ programs. Responsibilities include supervision of all staff to ensure compliance with program requirements, grant development and management, and prospecting new funding. This role employs key social work values, including survivor empowerment, professional boundaries, and requires familiarity with self-care practices and addressing vicarious trauma. This is a full-time, exempt position.

Position Reports to: Oakland Site Director
Position directly supervises: Anti-Trafficking Coordinators and Casework Supervisor, HSPRS
Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: Collaborate closely with other departments. Coordinate with Finance, Community Engagement, Quality Assurance and Data, and Grants and Development teams as needed.
External: Community-based organizations, local, state, and federal government agencies, task forces, local school districts, legal providers, and donors.
