GAIN’s purpose is to advance nutrition outcomes by improving the consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially those most vulnerable to malnutrition. In particular, we aim to improve the consumption of safe and nutritious foods for—at a minimum—1 billion people over the next five years and target major improvements to food systems, resulting in more diverse and healthier diets for vulnerable people in countries where we work. GAIN Indonesia has been operational in the country since 2012 and has received funding to continue and upscale its country programs at least until 2020.

We are seeking to deploy a Programme Associate for Adolescent Nutrition who will be responsible to manage the adolescent nutrition program to ensure effective and quality implementation under the guidance from workstream and country team. S/he will contribute in developing concept note, Project Implementation Plan (PIP), budget and review its progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and targets. S/he will primarily work with the Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) team in collaboration with the Knowledge Leadership (KL) team and the Finance team at the Country Office for ensuring achievement of outcomes of the program/project activities. S/he will directly work with executive agencies, creative agencies, government institutions and relevant strategic partners who have similar project/activities focusing on adolescent nutrition. The position will be actively involved in internal management/reporting mechanism for ensuring smooth operation and timely forecast of activities and budget. The position will report to the Portfolio Lead at the Country Office, Bangladesh.


The ideal candidate will be highly experienced in developing and managing projects in a multi-cultural environment in the private sector, government or international organisations. She/he will be experienced in designing nutrition education course curriculum with innovative, digital/animated teaching methodologies and tools for the adolescent. You must also demonstrate your experience in designing digital apps as a part of nutrition demand creation through engaging social media networks as well as its execution and monitoring.
