The Opportunity:   

At the Trustees we are committed to creating inclusive spaces of belonging for staff, members, volunteers and communities across our organization and properties. The Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager will support this vision by implementing successful Diversity Belonging Inclusion and Equity (DBIE) practices, initiatives, and frameworks as well as serving as an ambassador, advisor and consultant. Working in close collaboration with teams and colleagues across the organization this individual will co-create, implement, and manage DBIE initiatives and programming statewide.  

The Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager will report to the Managing Director of Community Impact.  

 

In This Role You Will:  

  • Support the execution of the Trustees’ multi-year Diversity Belonging Inclusion and Equity (DBIE) Roadmap 
  • Program and project manage DBIE initiatives by partnering with various teams and organizations (internal and external) to co-design, build, and evaluate programs  
  • Develop, oversee, and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)  
  • Promote and moderate dialogues and learning sessions across the organization by creating and facilitating discussion forums and trainings 
  • Build and maintain key strategic external partnerships and relationships with diverse groups, organizations and communities  
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to create internal and external DBIE communication to raise awareness, educate and keep stakeholders informed 
  • Track, evaluate, and report on quantitative and qualitative data, progress and effectiveness of DBIE initiatives and strategy
  • Conduct on-going market research on demographic trends, best practices, identifying and recommending strategies for enhancing Diversity & Inclusion efforts 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of demonstrated experience in developing and executing Diversity and Inclusion related programs and initiatives   
  • Demonstrated knowledge of concepts, frameworks and processes that drive organizational Diversity and Inclusion 
  • Strong project management skills with superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills  
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills with the ability to address and manage sensitive topics  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborate at all levels in an organization 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong drive to create a positive, diverse, inclusive and equitable work environment 

 

Other: 

  • This position may require occasional weekday evening and weekend hours as needed to support programs and initiatives

Compensation and Benefits
