The Project Manager manages the Commissioners’ Conference agendas and minutes along with all related conferences and committees; coordinates all arrangements for the Commissioners’ Conference meetings. This position will follow and implement the entire process for the Commissioners’ Conference. This position would oversee the department’s essential functions related to the Commissioners’ Conference and supervises the personnel directly responsible for the preparation of Commissioners’ Conference materials. The Project Manager delivers what is expected during critical deadlines, with accurate minutes, reposts the progress of the project to the team and the Secretary for Commissioners’ Conference. The Project Manager stays on track for deadlines and communicates accurately the status to The Secretary for Commissioners’ Conference. This position communications out to the team and others who need the information, uses documentation to note changes and edits for review. Under direction of The Secretary for Commissioners’ Conference the Project Manager will oversee all aspects of this.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or a related field and supplemented by managerial experience and five years’ experience performing a wide variety of progressively responsible administrative and technical support work characteristic/unique to this office/department’s purpose, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Knowledge of advanced Word and intermediate Excel. Must have excellent grammar, punctuation, attention to detail, critical thinking, researching and communication skills.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
May require valid state driver's license.
