Our growing team is hiring an Operations & Talent Associate who will oversee the daily operational aspects of our non-profit while providing direct support to our talent recruitment team. We are looking for a team member who can tackle complex project management duties and establish systems to improve the efficiency of operations of our team. This team member will work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Talent Recruitment.

The start date for this position is June 21, 2021.


Core Position Responsibilities

Focus: Program Operations & Support (50% of Position Responsibilities)

  • Create and maintain systems to improve the efficiency and organization of our office.
  • Organize and plan logistics related to resident coursework, including space reservations, partner communication, set-up, and maintenance of supplies.
  • Manage program materials, including maintenance of our Google Classroom coursework platform, program calendars, resident announcements, and handbooks.
  • Coordinate events, including resident celebrations, selection days for new teaching candidates, site visits for candidates to visit partner schools, and interview days.
  • Based on candidate interest and expertise additional role responsibilities may include projects related to social media, marketing, and/or fundraising support.

Focus: Talent Recruitment (50% of Position Responsibilities)

  • Provide high-touch recruitment support to candidates to assist in the application process.
  • Maintain systems to track leads and candidates as they matriculate through the recruitment and selection process.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent Recruitment to plan and execute selection days for residency candidates.
  • Organize and plan logistics related to residents’ placement at training sites and interviews with schools and building principals.
  • Analyze recruitment data to identify trends and improve recruitment outcomes.

  • A high level of personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Openness to receive feedback on issues that will facilitate professional growth.
  • Experience working for a non-profit, school, or education-related organization preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
