ABOUT LSC:
Established by Congress in 1974, the Legal Services Corporation (LSC) is the country’s single largest funder of civil legal aid for low-income Americans. LSC currently funds 132 independent nonprofit legal aid organizations with more than 800 offices throughout the nation. LSC’s mission is to promote equal access to justice and provide grants for high-quality civil legal assistance to low-income Americans.
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (“Director”) is responsible for performing the annual and long-term financial budgeting and forecasting across the organization. The primary responsibilities include budgeting, long-term financial planning, strategic business assessments, management reporting, budget and performance analysis, and cash forecasting. The position works closely with the Director of Financial Services to coordinate financial analysis and reporting. Reports to the Chief Financial Officer. The position is located in Washington, DC, but will be performed remotely until the pandemic subsides.

Technical/Specialized:
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance or business and a minimum of ten years of experience in financial planning and analysis. CPA candidate preferred. Experience building and maintaining financial planning, analysis, reporting and forecasting models and processes to facilitate organizational decision making in a non-profit organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and databases. NetSuite experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.

Salary range: $128,587 - $144,831
