ABOUT GOOD GRIEF

Good Grief builds resilience in children, strengthens families, and empowers communities to grow from loss and adversity. The foundation of our work is the understanding that grief is a universal human experience that serves a purpose by helping us rebuild our lives, forge a new identity, and adapt after tragedy. Through our programs and services, we work with grieving children, families, students, and educators to prevent risk factors by reducing isolation, teaching resilience, and creating a safe environment to grieve and share one’s grief story, while developing a sense of possibility and hopefulness for the future. Our vision of ensuring accessibility to our programs is substantiated by our robust educational and programmatic goals, which promote resilience and decrease risk factors. We accomplish our mission through four key initiatives: Family Support Centers, Good Grief Schools, Satellite locations, and Grief Expressions Summer Camp.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Director of Development will build upon an established and successful fundraising strategy to ensure the ongoing expansion of Good Grief’s mission, which has experienced 13-years of consecutive growth.
