ideas42 is looking for a seasoned professional to join its senior team to lead its operations function. This position will be responsible for ensuring ideas42 has effective, efficient and ever improving operations. The position will report directly to the Executive Director, and be integral to helping manage the organization. They will work closely with other members of the senior team including the Chief Innovation Officer, Director of Finance, Director of Communications, Director of People Operations, and the Managing Directors, who oversee the content focus areas (e.g. safety and justice, education, economic justice, etc.). The position will supervise the Director of Finance, Manager of Compliance and administrative staff. The Executive Director will lean on you to help identify and prioritize operational improvements for the organization and then drive these priorities forward. This role will involve overseeing and monitoring the work of other teams as well as leading and doing projects yourself. The Director of Operations will be responsible for working with the Executive Director to set the agenda and decision-making process for leadership and senior team meetings. You must be a people-oriented person, strong collaborator, logical thinker, and have a low-ego get the job done mentality. The ideal candidate has years of relevant operational experience, is an extremely organized tasks master, and is interested in taking on an operational role, using their strong financial acumen, strategic planning and change management experience.
