This role is a 12-month position, which is exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime pay under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

About the Position:
The Operations Associate supports the Operations Team on the daily operations of the school. They report directly to the Director of Operations and also work closely with the School Nurse, Business Office and Front Desk Staff. The Operations Associate has ongoing responsibilities in supply management, ordering, shipping, receiving and distribution of materials, maintaining the teacher work room, documenting collection and status of student health records, medication
administration, special projects and food service support.

Desired Qualifications:
Minimum required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. The Operations Associate will perform administrative office duties, maintain records and data and manage ordering systems. They must be dependable, show initiative, be self motivated, able to work independently and on a team and customer service oriented. Candidates must be highly organized, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and display the ability to prioritize and multitask projects. Must be flexible and able to adjust to unexpected schedule changes, occasionally take on tasks outside of your normal routine and be able to quickly shift gears. Candidates should be friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with a variety of people including vendors, adults, parents and children. Strong and professional oral, written and email communication skills in English and Spanish are required. Prior office experience, including familiarity with office systems such as student databases, Microsoft Excel, and word processing is essential. This position frequently requires the ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50lbs.
In addition to the above requirements, staff members must meet the requirements of all hires at Capital City including a criminal background check and a negative TB test.
