Position Description: ICLC seeks a talented, full-time, detail-oriented Bookkeeper with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Bookkeeper will perform all bookkeeping tasks, including invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable, donations, credit card processing, banking transactions, tracking of purchases and payments, and data entry into Quickbooks. Bookkeeper will maintain the books in an ethical, legal, and transparent manner, according to general accounting practices.
Hiring Criteria: Commitment to ICLC’s mission and values. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to use good judgment, multi-task, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Understanding of principles and practices of nonprofit accounting. Proven ability to maintain records and perform bookkeeping operations. Ideal candidate will have at least three years non-profit bookkeeping experience. Familiarity with QuickBooks a plus but not required.
