Job Overview


Human Resources with us is never boring. We run a nationwide social impact driven initiatives, with team members working at the grassroots level across Malaysia. Your task is to handle all HR related matters; from Global Recruitment, HR Administrations, Visa and Immigration, to Employee Relations with our team members on the field. What will I do?


Recruitment (50%)

  • Support the talent function in key initiatives to ensure that we are attracting the best possible talent on the market.
  • Maintaining candidate databases/systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times
  • Sourcing and initial screening of candidates, both passive and active, and will have a keen interest in the humanitarian sector.
  • Coordinating interviews, having ownership of some administrative functions and managing candidates through their journey prior to hire, including completing new hire paperwork.
  • Sending out interview confirmations and feedback to applicants.
  • Ensuring all necessary and statutory checks are completed prior to hire.
  • Think quickly on your feet to trouble-shoot unexpected issues or challenges


Employee and Labour Relations (40%)

  • Assisting on-boarding and orientation.
  • Ensuring well-being of employees.
  • Managing complaints and crises.


Visa and Immigration (10%)

  • Ensuring international applicants have their visa.
  • Check documents provided by applicants.
  • Explain visa procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Ensuring timely visa application submission.
  • Check and regularly update visa overview.
  • Maintain records of visa and passport expiration date.
  • Following up any information with the body of immigration.



What do I need?


  • At least one year’s experience in a similar position, ideally within an in-house recruitment function, but agency experience will be considered.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal with a can-do approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to gain people’s confidence to put them at ease.
  • Have tenacity and persistence; fast learner of process and guidelines.
  • Able to work closely in a team environment, to flex and adapt to the needs of the business.
