The National Parks Conservation Association, the nation’s leading national park advocacy organization, seeks a skilled advocate based in Philadelphia or Harrisburg to lead its advocacy programs in the two states. The successful candidate is a self-starter, a leader who can equip and support a team, and can manage the demands of a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a record of planning and executing strategic conservation/preservation campaigns; of building productive, collaborative relationships with community and political leaders in rural, suburban and urban communities; of leading and contributing to interdisciplinary teams; and will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Significant travel and weekend/evening work required.
