RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Investigate and follow up on tenant issues
  • Look after buildings and anticipate work that may be needed
  • Arrange any needed repairs and liaise with all necessary parties
  • Enforce the terms of rental or lease agreements
  • Main point of contact for tenants, responding to questions or concerns and scheduling and meeting with tenants
  • Must keep accurate and up-to-date records of inventory for each property (furniture, supplies, equipment)
  • Supervise property improvements and make sure work is done on time and expeditiously
  • Point of contact for all vendor management
  • Supervise all vacancies and turnovers
  • Additional responsibilities as needed


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates/Bachelors in business administration, finance, real estate or similar preferred


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in property management in the affordable housing industry.
  • Travel to properties required in five boroughs
  • Ability to lift up items of up to 50lbs
  • Strong computer skills; thorough knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and is required.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands and meet deadlines
  • Incumbent is expected to demonstrate strong ethics in interpersonal relations and work as an effective, collaborative team member
