We are currently looking for a Global Strategy Analyst in our Strategy & Innovation group in our New York office location.
In your role at ASME, you will work closely with the Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation, the Chief Strategy Officer, and colleagues in other Society areas to lead and contribute to strategic analysis, evaluation, and recommendations of projects that support the Society’s global aspirations.
• Performing market sizing analyses
• Conducting analyses of competitive and technological trends
• Developing business cases with financial models and implementation plans
• Synthesizing expert interviews and desk research into compelling recommendations
• Designing systems and processes to help measure and manage the business
• Identifying key business issues, articulating problems, applying the right analytical framework, developing solutions and recommendations, and representing findings to stakeholders
The position requires a bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent experience and at least five years of work experience. Familiarity with mechanical engineering and relevant areas such as manufacturing, energy, aerospace, robotics, and bioengineering is highly desirable. The incumbent must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication and project management skills. Strong quantitative skills, business judgment, and operational expertise are also required.
