The HR Administrator is responsible for all areas of human resource compliance and administration. The HR Administrator works independently and reports to the Executive Director.

Job Duties:

• HR compliance with the ADA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, OSHA and other relevant policies.

• Communicate with all staff regarding all benefits in their compensation package.

• Maintain various benefits plans.

• Supply required employment reports.

• Manage and document personnel transitions in the program.

• Process payroll on a semi-monthly basis. Preparing all documentation for payroll withholding, e.g. taxes, tax deferred annuity, garnishments, etc.

• Processing and reconciling year-end W-2, 1094-C and 1095-C forms

• Prepare federal and state quarterly tax returns and reports.

• Maintaining time records, vacation/sick leave

• Consult with Directing Attorneys and other managers regarding supervision of personnel issues and other HR issues.

• Be available to field offices as a resource for assistance with recruitment, hiring, training, and retreats.


Qualifications:

• A degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business or related discipline or equivalent work experience of at least three years.

• Familiarity with non-profit accounting and reporting requirements and a general understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.

• Effective written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Skilled with Word, Excel, and MIPS Accounting software
