Think about the first time someone recognized in you a spark, a talent you hadn’t yet seen in yourself. Remember the way your heart soared when you felt the power of what you could do and be. At Street Business School we are honored to help women living in poverty experience that feeling by turning their spark into a fire of purpose through our entrepreneurial training program. We provide entrepreneurial training programs for women living in extreme poverty through our Street Business School, which is currently expanding globally with a goal of reaching a million women by 2027.

We are proud of our successes! With our help:

·       We have reached over 52,000 people in Uganda since we started in 2004

·       SBS graduates go from living on $1.35 a day, on average, to $4.19 a day two years later

About our Monitoring and Evaluation Role

We are looking for a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist to join Street Business School's Global team to lead and further develop a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) program. This is an international position based in Boulder, Uganda or a third location with frequent travel to Uganda and beyond. We are on the forefront of helping women living in poverty transform their lives through entrepreneurial training, and looking for an amazing person to continue to capture and articulate our impact as we scale globally to reach a million women. In particular, we want to capture impact on increases in income, and in women's confidence, and this position will have an opportunity to pioneer new ways of measuring how a women's increased belief in herself creates transformation in many parts of her life.
