Description

The DC Bar has an opening for a Bilingual Programs Specialist in the Attorney/Client Relations Program. This position provides case management and paralegal support to the Clients’ Security Fund and provides back-up paralegal support to the Attorney/Client Arbitration Board.


The primary role of this position involves assisting individuals who file claims for reimbursement with the Clients’ Security Fund, drafting correspondence relating to claims filed, and managing the day-to-day claims process from initial inquiry to resolution, under the supervision of an attorney. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the desire to work with public in a legal setting are required to be successful in this position. 


Candidates should have a BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. 


Candidates must have professional fluency in Spanish with the ability to communicate in writing and verbally and must be able to translate legal documents form Spanish to English and from English to Spanish.


This is an exempt position. Salary is commensurate with experience. The D.C. Bar has an excellent benefit package.
