This position is for someone willing to take on a very rewarding challenge. Responsibilities include following a weekday morning schedule to teach pre-school to 8th graders. Classes taught include physical education, art education, and 20 minute math reviews and games with each grade level each week. This also includes running an English camp for two hours, one afternoon each week. We hope that this person will get engaged in other activities with the school and organization in his or her free time.
Benefits include free stay in our volunteer house and free meals when volunteers are present.
Level of Language Proficiency
This candidate should be proficient and ideally fluent in both English and Spanish. Haitian Creole skills are highly helpful as well and could potentially replace Spanish skills.
