Civic Nation seeks a Director of Programs & Strategic Engagement who will lead the integration of the United State of Women's (USOW) work, ensuring that USOW’s Ambassador Program, partner engagement, advocacy activations and educational resources, and online presence support the needs of USOW’s community and movement. They will provide key day-to-day and strategic planning support and management across all of USOW’s work to further USOW’s overall mission and the vision of the Executive Director.

This position will report to the United State of Women Executive Director.

ABOUT UNITED STATE OF WOMEN

The United State of Women (USOW) is a national initiative dedicated to convening, connecting, and amplifying voices in the fight for full gender equity. We are a community for all who identify as women, gender nonconforming, or allies, believe in full gender equity, and want to work collectively to achieve it. Born out of the Obama Administration’s White House Council on Women and Girls, USOW holds a unique position within the movement. We sit at an uncommon intersection of politics, community engagement, culture change, and leadership development. Through our educational resources, Ambassador program, and online campaigns, we strive to build and strengthen coalitions at all levels, connecting partners and new audiences to each other in order to enact meaningful change and create a more united #StateOfWomen.

ABOUT CIVIC NATION

Civic Nation is a home for changemakers who inspire, educate, and activate people around the issues that will define this generation. Civic Nation drives real, meaningful change by shifting culture, systems, and policy. We organize at every level and serve as a connector — of people and programs, of grassroots activists and leaders of industries and organizations, of ideas and the resources to make them reality. Our goal is to empower individuals, companies, institutions, and organizations to create a more inclusive, equitable America.
