Each Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd Grade Teacher serves as the lead master teacher for one class of students. Though teachers must be adept at teaching the range of subject areas, strong experience with literacy instruction is critical. TEP kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms utilize the Core Knowledge Language Arts literacy curriculum. Note that experience with this curriculum is not required. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of lead teaching experience in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, or 2nd Grade.
