Systems Analyst, Promise Academy

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Systems Analyst to focus on maintaining, improving, and adopting new systems with an overall goal of utilizing current platforms and systems to the highest capability. The Systems Analyst will also be expected to conduct necessary research on industry trends and leaders. You will collaborate with stakeholders including Principals and Education Directors to meet the school's needs. 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate the needs of stakeholders; research, identify, and implement systems and workflows to address those needs
• Create system design proposals
• Assist with the testing and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
• Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
• Oversee, develop, and maintain standards across various systems
• Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
• Prepare data extracts and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders
• Perform various back-end administrative functions 

Qualification, Skill and Knowledge Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred
• 3+ years relevant experience
• Solid technical or data related background
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into simple language 
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms and database query tools/languages (ex. SQL) 
• Sharp problem-solving, analytical, and innovation skills  
• Self starter with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail 
• Strong organizational, time-management, prioritization skills
• Experience in start-ups and/or education technology field as a business or systems analyst is a plus
