The ICCT is looking for a committed, enthusiastic Researcher to contribute to our work to decarbonize transportation fuels. You will contribute to multi-disciplinary research on the sustainability and techno-economics of different alternative fuels and policy design to support the deployment of low-carbon fuels. Representative work can be seen on the ICCT's fuels team page. We hope to fill a position in our San Francisco, California, Washington, D.C., or Berlin offices as soon as possible. You will report to our Fuels Team Program Director.
This is a full-time position and is located in our San Francisco, Washington, D.C., or Berlin office. We offer a competitive salary based on education, experience, and location starting at $77,400 (DC), $85,100 (SF), and €67,800 (Berlin) plus an excellent benefits package, including group health, a 401(k) with 7% matching contribution, transportation subsidy, and other great benefits.
Please submit a cover letter, resume, two relevant technical research reports primarily written by the applicant (links to other applicable reports within your resume are also welcome), salary requirement, and contact information for three professional contacts. Please combine your resume and cover letter into a single attachment in the "resume" field and use the "cover letter" field for your writing samples (either the full documents or links to them). Please state your preference for the San Francisco, Washington D.C., or Berlin office in your cover letter. We will consider a first round of applications received by March 31 and then on a rolling basis. Preference will be given to candidates whose cover letters directly address the position being offered. Applications without the supplemental materials will receive less consideration.
