PROGRAM ASSISTANT, FRIENDS OF YOUTH


The Program Assistant provides support services to Specialized Residential Services programs at Friends of Youth. This includes supporting the Division Director and a team of approximately 30 full time staff as well as relief staff and volunteers. The Program Assistant maintains an adequate number of relief staff to meet ongoing schedule needs for programs. Support services also include word processing, compilation of statistical data and program reports, reception and referral, training coordination, organization of program activities and additional projects as assigned by the Program Director.


QUALIFICATIONS: 

1. Previous experience in an administrative position or with administrative tasks.

2. Previous experience in social services preferred.

3. Experience with Windows 7 environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
