Madison Square Park Conservancy is the nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect, nurture and enhance Madison Square Park, a dynamic seven-acre public green space, creating an environment that fosters moments of inspiration. The Conservancy is committed to engaging the community through its beautiful gardens, inviting amenities, and world-class programming.
Madison Square Park Conservancy is seeking a temporary hourly sculpture monitor to work outdoors in the Park. The monitor will serve as a representative of the Conservancy to visitors and ensure that works of art on view are respected.
Position responsibilities include:
- Ability to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions, and to sit and/or stand for long periods
- Respond to questions about the works of art on view
- Interact with the public to ensure respect and care for the works of art on view
- Looking for immediate hire
- From now through late November 2018
- Hours are daily from 12 to 6pm.
