Program & Projects Coordinator

Alley Cat Rescue, a nonprofit organization, is leading the way in promoting humane care for ALL cats. ACR, headquartered in Maryland, runs TNR programs in Los Angeles, Virginia, Maryland and South Africa. ACR also runs a Global Program for veterinarians working to help feral cats.

ACR is looking for someone who wants to help cats and who wants to promote compassionate conservation, using nonlethal methods to control populations of outdoor cats. Preferably someone who has experience dealing with feral cats and TNR.

ACR is a small organizational and multi-tasking is an important requirement. The person we need to work in the Maryland office must be able to do office jobs, such as ordering office and medical supplies, coordinate our Roanoke Cat Project, work closely with other Maryland cat groups, find & coordinate volunteers and fosters. Take photos of cats. Help feed office cats, keep phones and computers running in the office. Help with donor calls, answer phones, help people who need help with cats, enter some donations into computer system, help deposit checks.

Good writing skills required.
