MUSIC OR VISUAL ART TEACHING ARTISTS - Immediate Opportunity

The Center for Educational Innovation is seeking Teaching Artists in visual art OR music/songwriting to work with NYC public school students citywide.Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree, be practicing artists or musicians, and have more than 2-3 years of experience teaching music or visual art to students in grades 5-9 in a classroom setting. Candidates should also have strong organizational and classroom-management skills, must be willing to travel to multiple boroughs, and be available for work during the school day and after school.
