Homeward House Collaborative Manager provides the oversight of all activities for the Homeward House Collaborative. The work of the Manager is to act as public face for the Collaborative; a link between collaborative partners, staff and the community to effectively represent Homeward House in a public capacity in addition to comply with the overall functions of the project. The Manager organizes Collaborative Partners’ work and Monthly and Quarterly Steering Committee meetings with primarily partners. Adheres to Perigee and United Way CORE funding expectations. During COVID-19 restrictions are in place, this position will combine remote and onsite work.

Homeward House is a visitation center that provides wrap-around services and support for parents and children ages 0-8yrs (primarily opiate affected infants 0 to 1 year of age) in dependency proceedings. Families are able to have visitation in a home-like environment, enriched by mentoring and interactive parenting education and activities based on a  holistic and best practice models approach. The goal is to achieve safe placement for both parent and infant while treating the effects of substance use disorder, preserve the parent/child bond; and, reach timely permanency.

This is currently a non-supervisory position. However, there is a possibility to assimilate a supervisory role based on further program development, qualifications and demonstrated skill.

This position has a social justice component that will allow for critical thinking around how the external systems impact the work that we are doing through the lens of racism and intersections with poverty. Valuing diversity and championing anti-racism policy are core values. As an equal opportunity employer, we highly encourage people of color to apply.
