New position with ability to work remotely from any location in the continental U.S.! The Digital Acquisition & Fundraising Manager is primarily responsible for managing C&C’s national email list, and, in particular, will be responsible for meeting ambitious annual online fundraising goals. They will be the project lead for the online acquisition program, moving new acquisitions up the ladder of engagement and reach conversion and ROI goals.


You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing email fundraising program, and meeting quarterly and annual fundraising and growth goals.
  • Planning, writing and producing national fundraising emails and major donor retention program.
  • Serving as the lead digital writer for the CEO.
  • Assisting in branding, marketing, and writing for C&C publications, both online and offline, to promote our programmatic work and successes.
  • Working with the Digital Strategy Director and online ads vendor to create and manage list growth opportunities to increase the fundraising and advocacy potential of the C&C email list through coordinated online campaigns.
  • Managing the ladder of engagement for new acquisitions to improve conversion rates.
  • Measuring ROI of acquisition program against fundraising and advocacy goals and valuation.
  • Managing the national email testing program and publishes results internally.
  • Working with Development and Communications and Marketing colleagues to align online and offline messages across all channels and plan and execute cross-medium message testing.


The ideal candidate's education and experience will be:

  • A bachelor’s degree in political science, computer science, English, communications).
  • A minimum of 4 years working in digital strategy.
  • A strong working knowledge of multivariate testing best practices as well as the ability to interpret test results.
  • Proven record of fundraising success in a nonprofit or campaign setting — to include new donor acquisition and cultivation; long-term donor retention strategies; and online fundraising.
