    Description

We are looking for an experienced leader and fundraising professional to recommend and implement best practices, who has a heart for conservation and an opportunistic soul to help fund it. Are you interested in protecting San Luis Obispo County, one of the rare coastal California areas with substantial open spaces still available to protect; a person who champions the air, water and earth for a healthy environment, protects wildlife habitat, and appreciates open spaces? Do you have the self-awareness to understand and appreciate the perspective of others, especially our vast community of donors? If so, read on.

The Fundraising Program Manager will implement LCSLO’s fundraising activities in close collaboration with the Engagement team. They will be responsible for maintaining and promoting ongoing private giving; cultivating a portfolio of major donors; managing major donor events; growing and supporting LCSLO’s planned giving program; and working closely with leadership staff, the Board of Trustees, and the Development Committee to increase private giving and promote a “culture of appreciation” throughout the organization.

The Fundraising Program Manager will report directly to the Development and Engagement Director and work closely with the Executive Director and Deputy Director. This is a full-time exempt position.
