    Description

The University of New Mexico Foundation (UNMF) invites experienced and emerging advancement professionals to explore multiple frontline fundraising opportunities within our growing team. We are actively recruiting for positions across several key areas, including:

      • Health Sciences Center Development – Supporting groundbreaking research, patient care, and education at New Mexico’s only academic medical center.
      • Academic Development – Partnering with colleges and schools across campus to empower students, faculty, and programs that shape New Mexico’s future.
      • Regional Development – Engaging alumni and donors throughout the state and beyond to strengthen UNM’s statewide impact.

These roles offer the chance to join a collaborative, mission-driven organization as we emerge from the silent phase of our 10-year comprehensive campaign, designed to advance innovation, discovery, and access at The University of New Mexico.

The University of New Mexico and the UNM Foundation will publicly launch the most ambitious fundraising campaign in its history in fall 2026, with a goal expected to exceed $1 billion. This multi-year effort is focused on expanding access to higher education, advancing research, and improving health outcomes across the state. At UNM, development officers are true collaborators. You will work side by side with senior leaders, committed donors, and faculty innovators to build strategy, shape partnerships, and close transformational gifts. If you thrive in a culture where ideas are welcomed and success is shared, this is the moment to join us and help define New Mexico’s future.
