 WHO WE SEEK

We seek an enthusiastic self-starter who has passion for RPA’s mission and values, and a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and administering human resources (HR) programs, policies, and procedures supporting staff satisfaction and organizational effectiveness. The individual must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and command a strong attention to detail. This person must be curious, committed to exceptional client service and enjoy problem solving.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Generalist will partner with other members of the HR Team to implement human resources programs that build and support the objectives and policies of RPA. The HR Generalist will also work closely with the Sponsored Projects & Funds Team (SP&F) serving as a partner to ensure efficient HR services, up-to-date knowledge of client operations, staffing, and organizational structure and culture. This position will be involved in all aspects of HR including regulatory compliance, performance management, personnel policies, employee relations, staff development, recruiting, compensation, benefits administration, and HR reporting.

The HR Generalist’s principle responsibilities include:

+  Maintaining knowledge of and ensuring compliance with employment-related laws and regulations

+  Supporting and responding to routine questions regarding human resources policies and procedures

+  Providing guidance in functional HR areas such as employee relations, compensation, training, workforce planning, and recruitment to influence successful solutions

+  Leading assigned recruitment efforts including developing position descriptions, posting, sourcing and screening

+  Supporting the processing of payroll

+  Participation in the preparation of HR reports and HR statistical data

+  Performing exit interviews, and analyzing, tracking, and reporting on related trends

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

+  Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on HR or related field

+  5 years of progressive experience in HR positions

+  HR Certification preferred

+  Solid knowledge of HR practices, federal and state employment laws, recruitment, compensation, performance management, wage & hour regulations, and employee relations, required.

+  Knowledge of Global HR helpful

+  Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently

+  Proven ability to effectively balance priorities while developing effective working relationships at all levels

+  Ability to exercise excellent judgment and critical thinking skills

+  Ability to build relationships, establish trust, manage conflict, and influence others

+  Ability to conduct research and evaluate information critically

+  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

+  Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

+  Ability to see big picture but manage small details

+  Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
