Who We Are

The Hispanic Federation (HF) is the nation's premier Latino nonprofit membership organization. Values that drive our work include equality, fairness, diversity, and empathy.

HF launched the CREAR (College Readiness, Achievement and Retention) Futuros program in 2012 to address the systemic barriers that prevent many Latinos from earning a college degree. HF works with nationwide higher education partners such as The City University of New York (CUNY) and private foundations and corporations to implement student retention and achievement models that increase the percentage of Latino students graduating from college. The program creates support systems through peer mentoring and professional development opportunities to increase graduation rates of Latino students.
