The Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) is seeking a Field Organizer for their Oakland Office. ACCE is a multi-issue, membership-based community organization, building the power and voice of poor and working families across the state of California. With offices in 6 cities, ACCE works in local communities and statewide to fight for economic, racial, and social justice.

About the Position:
ACCE is an organization that firmly believes that power comes from having a strong membership base of active and engaged community members. Your job as an ACCE field organizer is to build a base of Oaklanders to make systematic change in our local communities and Statewide. Moreover, we believe that Oakalnders are the solution to Oakland’s problems and our community members collectively already have the answers. With that being said, you will be helping to develop ACCE members’ capacity to build political and electoral power through direct action, voter engagement, and coalition building.
Position Location:
This position primarily requires you to work in your turf assignment but there are office hours.

This position is permanent & full-time.
Wage: Starting wage is $24.99/hr but increases depending on years of paid organizing experience
