Reporting to the Associate Director for Development and Finance, the Development and Finance Coordinator will support all financial and development operations at the Kelly Writers House (KWH). The Development and Finance Coordinator will prepare invoices, purchase orders, reimbursements, and other payments; process and track incoming gifts and income; manage Petty Cash; and coordinate travel and lodging for KWH guests. The Development and Financial Coordinator will coordinate all KWH mailings, including two major annual appeals, the monthly print calendar, donor acknowledgement letters, and other mailings as assigned. Additional responsibilities include database and contact management, inventory tracking, and occasional event staffing, for development- and alumni-related events.


A high school diploma or GED and 5 to 7 of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, are required. Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience strongly preferred. Experience with Penn financial and database systems preferred (ATLAS, BEN Buys, Concur, PennWorks, etc). Ideal candidate will have demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an ability to work with large amounts of data and information. Strong communication skills are required. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
