The OWLS Mission
OWLS is a sports-based youth development organization that creates opportunities for underserved youth in Chicago. With lacrosse as its foundation, OWLS provides impactful mentorship, academic intervention, and enrichment experiences to support the social-emotional growth of the youth we serve.
The OWLS Chief Program Officer is a new full-time position. The Chief Program Officer will facilitate and manage all development and execution of the Outreach, League and Academy programs OWLS offers to its community. The candidate should have relevant experience working with lacrosse programs in an educational setting, including coaching and working with youth, be adept at administrative work, and be able to work independently.
This is a full-time, salaried role. The candidate must be energetic, detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, disciplined, and self-motivated.
Specific responsibilities for this position include:
In collaboration with organizational leadership, the candidate’s primary responsibility is to oversee OWLS’ Outreach, League and Academy programs. Additional responsibilities include managing administrative operations and assisting the Executive Director with organizational development. In this role, he or she will perform the tasks listed below:
