Our mission

Quantifying and communicating every American’s climate risk

The problem

The problem with climate risk today is that there is no accurate way for any individual or company to understand how climate change will impact them personally. We are solving this problem. In the last twelve months since we launched our revolutionary first risk product (FloodFactor.com), we have seen over 2 billion media impressions and millions of Flood Factor visits or API lookups.

The opportunity

We pride ourselves on being able to simplify complex ideas, data, and science and are looking to expand our team with a Product Marketing Manager.  We are looking for a detailed-oriented, creative, and analytical person who is passionate about the environment and wants to join our group.

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the expansion of our existing FloodFactor.com experience into other climate perils. We’re looking for someone who is part data scientist, part competitive analyst and part storyteller who understands product design and user experience.

The role

This role will be tasked with clearly communicating scientific research and data to diverse audiences through narrative product experiences and communications and helping define and develop the go to market strategy. Candidates must possess creative and adaptive thinking skills, be resourceful, and have a passion for conveying complex scientific information in a simple and easy to understand way.

The Product Marketing Manager should be a master communicator and a “Jack of all trades” who can seamlessly move from strategic thinking and planning to nitty-gritty execution. They will support product content development, UX writing, and owned media communications including social and email response and partner closely with the customer support team. They will also help with go to market strategy and partner integrations. This role will be a part of the Marketing and Communications team but work closely with the Software Development and Data teams to ensure successful data integration into our products.

Things happen quickly and to get stuff done here you need to be an enthusiastic team player - a self-starter who can work as a team of one or many and isn't frightened to take risks, problem-solve or try out new ways of doing things.

If you want to work with some of the most talented people in the digital marketing and data science landscape, are passionate about the cause and want to make a difference in the world, then you've come to the right place.
