Description

Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Individual Giving, the Assistant Director is responsible for leading communications and supporting administration related to the School’s annual giving program, as well as playing a vital role in increasing the number of dollars and donors to the School’s annual funds. The Assistant Director maintains key relationships in the School, at the University-level, and among alumni. As such, s/he acts as a critical partner to the Senior Associate Director and the senior leadership of the External Relations and Development Division. Bringing a high degree of creativity with superb attention to detail, the Assistant Director works in close collaboration with the Senior Associate Director and other members of the Individual Giving team to plan, execute, and assess the effectiveness of fundraising appeals in both electronic and print format. S/he will draft and review copy, provide input on creative design, and prepare HTML emails for sending, ensuring email optimization across devices.

S/he also coordinates social media outreach to encourage increased support and oversees the reporting associated with the team’s outreach initiatives and provides general project and administrative support to the Senior Associate Director. S/he will meet core and partnership values of teamwork, integrity, accountability, and respect.
