Job Summary:

Youth Services works across RAHS campuses to support student success and engagement and provide education intervention, case management services, and personal development skills; and to connect students with other POIC + RAHS programs including after-school activities, tutoring, employment and training services, parenting education services, and mentoring as well as juvenile justice prevention/intervention services.

Job Responsibilities (specific duties vary by job):

- Client Engagement: provide regular outreach and support to RAHS students and families

- Case Management: support a caseload of up to 90 youth and families

- Data Management: collect, analyze and report on data and monitor grant requirements

- Team Collaboration: complete regular agency reports and collaborate with Youth Services team and other POIC departments to deliver services across all program sites

Personal Requirements:

- Ability to assess risk factors, protective factors, personal and evaluation needs to develop appropriate individual interventions or case plans

- Ability to build effective, trusting relationships with young people and parents

- Ability to identify and appropriately engage adolescents with mental health, drug and alcohol issues

- Strong writing skills 

- Driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle and the ability to meet our insurability requirements

Minimum Experience/Education Requirements Vary by Job and May Include:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

- Experience providing case management services

- Experience providing outreach, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills with youth and families

- Experience recruiting and maintaining program participants

- Experience working with communities of color

- Experience managing and reporting grant requirements and outcomes
