POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Contracts Administrator works in support of the missions of small and medium affiliated sized nonprofits, called Projects) as well as TSNE as an organization, in a dynamic, fast-paced team-based environment. The Administrator plays a critical role as part of the TSNE team providing broad customer service coordination and paralegal-level supports related to contracts.. The Administrator must be tech savvy and customer service oriented and able to prioritize and troubleshoot as needed. The Administrator works with MissionWorks staff to meet the evolving needs of social justice initiatives housed at TSNE. This position will primarily focus on providing support for contracts and for information and database management.

 

REPORTING TO THIS POSITION:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

·        Provide day-to-day contract administrative support and preliminary legal review for a high volume of expense and revenue-neutral contracts;

·        Review, update, and add protocols and workflows as appropriate with an eye on consistency and standardized processes;

·        Notify appropriate parties and update various systems when projects join or leave the fiscal sponsorship program; maintain current information on project and team staffing;

·        Serve as point person for insurance-related matters; coordinate with insurance brokers and, with support of the legal team as needed, relay insurance-related information to Projects as needed.

·        Conduct contracts orientations for new and existing Projects and relevant new hires;

·        Oversee state registrations;

·        File lobbying reports as requested;

 

Systems and Database Management

·        Keep organization-wide expense and revenue neutral contracts updated in Salesforce and related systems and monitor data quality;

·        Partnering with other departments, play lead role in selection and implementation of contract-management systems and development of guidance, workflows and related processes

Administrative and Organizational Support 

·     Compile forms and other information as needed related to expense and revenue neutral contracting, insurance, and state registrations;

·        Provide other administrative support as needed.

Communications and Relationships

·        Support communications and outreach with existing Projects regarding team updates, project materials, etc.

·        Conduct contracts orientations for new and existing Projects and relevant new hires;

·        Support meeting and event planning and implementation as requested;

 

Other

 

·        Manage and complete special projects and lend assistance to cross-departmental teams as needed.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 2-3 years nonprofit client services experience,
  • Paralegal strongly preferred
  • Highly experienced with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM programs;
  • Able to manage and organize multiple projects while paying close attention to detail;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Ability to pick things up quickly;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including fluency in English are required;
  • Experience and/or strong interest in the nonprofit sector, social justice and grants and finance management is preferred.
