John Eaton Afterschool Program (JEAP) is committed to providing safe, high-quality child care for children at John Eaton Elementary School. JEAP focuses on helping our students develop socioemotional skills through play, and recreational activities.
We are seeking leaders who have at least 2 years of experience working with school-aged children from Pre-K through 5th grade.
· Plan indoor and outdoor activities
· Assist students with homework
· Engage students with various activities throughout the afternoon
· Collaborate with other Group Leaders to plan and execute activities
Hours are 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session. We offer flexible hours, retirement plan, and travel stipend to all employees.
Training and staff meetings occur when children are out of school for parent conferences/teacher development days.
If offered employment, candidates must complete a police clearance and TB test.
Applicants with CDA and CPR certifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
