PSU’s Graduate Business Programs Admissions Manager will collaboratively design and independently lead the implementation of all admissions processes across PSU’s graduate business programs. The Admissions Manager reports to the Executive Director of Graduate Business Programs. Specific areas of responsibility include: 

  • Collectively designing admissions processes based on best practices
  • Collaboratively leading conversations about equity in admissions with program leadership, with a particular emphasis on racial equity
  • Independently implementing and executing admissions processes across programs
  • Act as the main point of contact for applicants from the point of application to admission
  • Serving as a member of the admissions committee and reviewing every applicant for admissions to PSU’s graduate business programs
  • Supporting data maintenance between the admissions (Slate) and recruiting (Salesforce) CRM systems
  • Actively participating as a member of the Graduate Business Programs team

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS with 2+ years of related experience. For this position, related experience is defined as: 
  • Admissions 
  • Data management
  • Recruitment/hiring/human resources
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives 
  • Assessment and evaluation
  • Career coaching and/or counseling 
  • Experience working in a CRM system
  • Able and willing to effectively drive conversations about race and equity in admissions with program leaders including Deans, Academic Directors and the Executive Director of Graduate Business Programs (supervisor)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organizational structure
  • Intermediate Excel a must, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite skills
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication and organization skills

About the Graduate Business Programs Team 

PSU’s Graduate Business Programs (GBP) supports student experience with services — including recruiting, admissions, academic advising and career management — for all graduate business students across seven master’s programs and seven certificate programs. 

We are dedicated to providing services that center student experience and are authentic, holistic, equity minded, integrous and responsive. GBP along with the School of Business  continues to develop our equity practices with a particular focus on racial equity.
